The OG crew has great chemistry all around. Goku is the best character of them all, and even though aging him into an adult gave an edge to the 23rd Tournament, he was always a boring character after that, that's probably why the drama shifted to side characters in Z whereas before it was always centered on Son Goku.

I'm excited for the new anime for that reason. Goku is best as a child. I hope it's like a more episodic Red Ribbon arc.
