How can we use Nostr to solve this?
Governments are putting strong pressure on social media companies to change what’s said about Israel’s invasion of Gaza.
Nostr is about censorship resistance and autonomy. Let’s get these folks onboard as they get removed, shaddow banned, or demonitized on centralized corporate platforms.

The Muslim Bitcoiners I follow on Xitter are pushing people to get on #nostr, they see the censorship more clearly than most.
Unfortunately it seems people only act once they’ve “found out”, very few seem willing to pre-emptively move across, particularly those with larger followings.
Could we have something like a Nitter.net for nostr that made browsing here easier for normies who arent on the network yet?
We have tweeter.nos.social if they want to move but keep back posting to Twitter. I think we’re close to having the pieces we need. Perhaps some ux but also explainer videos, tutorials, etc. Not for Bitcoiners but for Arabic speakers and others going in to how to use nostr as an alternative. Especially how to find people and build an audience.
This is a really cool service.
More explainer videos/tutorials in general will go a long way in helping Nostr adoption. I need to add more to whynostr too.

The biggest thing we can do as you said is evangelize nostr and only engage on nostr except to spread the word. It’s only a matter of time before you’re censored on Corp media it just depends when your pet issues become hot topics and trend there
I think the problem is that permissioned social media is basically as regime-oriented as user-generates content can get, and unpermissioned social media is a complete noise factory where disinfo is indistinguishable from actual info.
