relays purge their datastoragee....poof its gone if no other relay out there is sharing it. right?
But notes are also stored in peopleās devices. Not only relays will need to delete them but every single user on their devices that received them. And thereās no way you can trust someone deleted a file on your behalf.
Or is there?
sure govt agencies can play gotchya from some hidden store of data, ...
....but im more interested in historical aspect of catching gotchyas of past statements, like horrible calls etc from scammers, politicians, crooked finance bros, etc. not having these notes findable in relay's for users 10years later, kinda sux.
or whatever the mainstream news said about that topic before. who they puffed up, etc
