maybe a workaround possible using a vanadium bookmarks widget or something

1) do method above
2) I 'share' my bookmarks to my notes app
- creates it as a numerical order of my bookmarked URL's
3) to save, I export all my notes as a backup file

If you delete a browser, all their links and "add to homescreen" links disappear.
I use Floccus synced over my Nextcloud bookmarks to all my browsers on all my devices, exporting to an html backup using Librewolf or Brave Browser every now and then.

Best I can tell you is (what I'm now doing) is;
- screenshot your home screens often
- Bookmark all your PWA's and favs
If you start typing in what you remember you had as your home screen bookmarks/PWA's, vanadium already has those remembered in the browser (if you didn't clear your cache, etc.), which is great
That's what I did and started to add back the apps I had on there, like nsec.app, gifbuddy.lol, cashu.me, etc.
Its not a big deal, but still annoying
