I don’t know. The USPS processes more mail than ever. Junk and ads most lot of ‘em. The Courier industry is much larger with FedEx, UPS, DHL. I think banks will find a purpose and may be fuse more with government and business services.

I believe banks will still serve a purpose just as the usps still serves purpose, just a slightly different version of what we know banks to be today. Usps=snail mail banks = snail money
I don’t know if it will be snail money. I see a future where banks will be integrated with CBDC and transact as fast as any other blockchain technology. When ever that happens and all transactions like buying a home, trading stocks, 401k will be mandated via banks. We will hear a lot of AML and Counter terrorism arguments.
