Now everyone uses it daily and most people have no clue how it works. It just works for them.

You don't get mass adoption through trying to educate the masses. The masses are fucking stupid and lazy.

You get mass adoption when you improve UX to the point that the system just works for them with minimal effort and zero technical knowledge.
