Is my user status changing at ~8 sec intervals in the Nostr client you are using? Curious.

Can someone confirm this? It's actually pretty cool but it's not intended 😅

Let me see...

Amethyst doesn't update.

Okay because for me Amethyst does update. It goes back and forth between two statuses. But good to know! I made the status updates from an unfinished client and wasn't sure if I hadn't done something wonky with the implementation.

1 min interval delay between these two prints:

You hurt poor cypherhoodlum's eyes with that light theme 👀 come to the dark side.

I hate both Light and Dark side!!!!!!!

My preference is a middle a light dark theme, but none of these are available 😢

Coracle client has a perfect light-dark theme!!!! I love it!

So many exclamations 😂

Sorry man, that's because I have strong opinions about things I work on daily. For example, I believe all the keyboards in the world are broken, mine was fixed:

But I'm actually talking about the user status under the display name in comment threads, not in the profile page.

Nice, it's changing every 8 sec!!!!

In real time!!!

Okay that might be a problem 😄 it's pretty cool but it shouldn''t happen.

In theory, users can setup multiple statuses. If that happens it displays a rotating status in the UI until the user deletes it or it expires. Do you know how did you create them? Amethyst is supposed to only give you one status.

I published the events with NDK to test a new feature on GitNestr. I don't think I set the expiry value 😅

Nice! Just create a delete event to get rid of them :)

GitNestr? Git on Nostr? o.o

Yes exactly. A Nostr client for code development.

i do not see anything
