One of the obvious consequences of algorithm-driven media in hindsight is how predictable everything is. Most things are driven by signals that flatten cultures with conversations and communities as artificial as the intelligence that drives the platform.

One such example is the use of the phrase “Colonizer Language”, largely promoted by awfully stupid provocateurs and their equally stupid engagers.
