Because a painting isn't just the hours with the brush.

It's the days I look at it without touching it.

The weeks I think about it while doing other things.

Some paintings take a few hours of actual work.

But weeks of waiting for the right moment.

Patience isn't measured in hours. It's measured in waiting.
