low-key good limitation(?) of nostr is that if you want to see how many followers you have, you have to sit there and wait for the total number to be fetched and displayed, which can take several minutes sometimes.
i’m way to impatient for that, so i never look at it.
this is good friction. fixation on follower count is one of legacy social’s most toxic attributes. nostr subtly takes the focus off that and redirects it to actually using the product and having fun, and followers becomes an afterthought.
