I haven't even been on it much the past few months and look at the data usage. It's not the client to use if you have a metered connection or a low performance device. It's also very slow if you have a slow Internet connection. But if you have fast, unlimited data and a fast phone it performs very well from the user's point of view. Under those conditions there's no other Android client that comes even close.
