I will say with 2 kids under 2, and a full grown half-obedient pit bull, I’m ready to be dog-less. (I hope all my grammar was right)

Only because people seem to think dogs are a good substitute for children.

I.e I’m not sure I’m ready for kids. So we’ll get a dog.

Spoiler alert: no one is ready for kids.

But I’m all for people having dogs. Just not at the expense of kids.
