Last night in a flash of insight I remembered the old adage “be careful what you wish for, you just may get it”

And thought about how true this really is… often the hunt is more exciting than the prize, the journey is more interesting and fraught with adventure than the destination… but also sometimes we think something will be a certain way and forget about the consequences.
