the amount of people around my age that are just wishing to do nothing and retire is seriously worrying

hopelessness will lead to the yout betting it all in the crypto markets as if it were a lottery ticket, for a chance of retiring.

and even if they do win, they’ll still be unhappy.

This. Retirement should not be a goal in life. That's just asking for a degenerative brain. My papa is 73 and still going hard in his business because he LOVES it. I've been telling him to slow down and retire for almost 20years. I stopped trying to get him to slow down when I understood how much he loves what he does 💯🙌🔥
