I think you mean the App needs google play services to work.
The app it self can not check from which source it was installed.
I have google play services. Apps can know if they were installed through google play.
I develop android apps for more than ten years and I don’t know a single way to verify if a app was installed over plan or a third story.
But maybe I’m missing a function 🤔
