If you want to be most economical hit the ‘Purchase inbound channel’ on the Channels list view.

Seems like 0 conf doesn't have an expiration but purchasing an inbound channel does? What'd the most cost-effective in the long term?
0-conf chans have 3 month lifetime. Next release will make it a bit clearer and allow you to renew.
Right now most economical is a 12 mo purchase in advance channel. Once renewal functionality is out, most economical will be open with on-chain funds then use renew functionality to turn it into a proper lease.
