We're onboarding plebs to the valueverse. The idea is get you a Nostr key pair; a Damus or Primal or Amethyst; use nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 and nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg and start working in a new artist-to-fan direct relationship.

We get the artists on here to promote their songs whether on Fountain, Wavlake, LNBeats, etc.

Podcasters like me play the songs.

Musicians upload to the valueverse (in addition to what they're doing on Spotify, or they can ditch the old streaming services altogether).

Artists do live shows on nostr:npub1h8gzew8am6cezuq7cpjgudldra40hgnruqrqlsrqnxnzs5wjtczqztps02

and we let the zaps and boosts flow...

I'll have to check fountain out I wouldn't use wavlake their a proprietary website which gives your info to third parties & use a notion site for their tos & pp which in turn is giving them some data too. I will have to see this valueverse because I don't know what it is. i'm interested as an artist but if the services used in this value for value are not open source services & transparent it's difficult to trust something new.

I understand this is a cause for artist but on nostr maybe not everybody but there are those who care about wheres the datas going. I want to know how can I trust this?

It is open source, don't need any platform involvement. Build a rss feed with any of the new tags you want, host it on your own wesbite, and upload the feed to the Podcast Index

https://github.com/Podcastindex-org/podcast-namespace/blob/main/docs/1.0.md#table-of-contents

You can use this website to build a PC2.0 feed

https://sovereignfeeds.com/

There's also a plethora of apps outside Fountain and Wavlake. Some FOSS, others not

https://nudepodcastapps.com/

Everyone is so worried about interoperability around here but only if you’re using Nostr. Add your RSS feed to podcastindex.org and any podcasting app that uses the index can pull in your content.

Podverse, Curiocaster, LNBeats, PodcastGuru and Castamatic are all great PC 2.0 apps that I use because each one has its only cool set of features depending on what I’m listening to and where.

I am not “worried” about interoperability. No one is. Especially with Nostr, which works.

haha valueverse TM

Nostr has interoperability so you can use the apps of your choosing

You can also use musicsideproject.com. Code is open sourced on GitHub, drop your artwork and mp3s on your own server, build your album and download the feed to your desktop then upload it to your own server. No need to have other dudes control your files, you can do that shit yourself.

If you have a website, you can self-custody your art on RSS. There's a template feed for Decentralized Music (DeMu) with comments explaining all the tags here:

https://github.com/de-mu/demu-feed-template/blob/master/feed-with-comments.xml

I don’t understand why everyone thinks this stuff is hard. It’s right there in the name Really Simple.

We do this, and it is easy! Easier than learning how to produce and record your own music, which we also do 😬 And we are in %100 control of our music. nostr:npub1yvgrrzf4dnmu30qfhw95x87ruu0g2kpv3a64h8hpvqsre8qeuspsgd6pv9 makes amazing tools for helping artists like https://musicsideproject.com/

I'm willing to help and answer anyone's questions just like nostr:npub1yvscx9vrmpcmwcmydrm8lauqdpngum4ne8xmkgc2d4rcaxrx7tkswdwzdu

did when I was learning.

Check out our music feed, and you will find, if you want to, you can do it too!

The Doerfels are legit. And their story about how v4v reignited their love for playing is a good one.
