I've seen AI generated CP about a hand full of times and also images labeled as incest. Right now we are in the early days . When Nostr becomes more busy/traffic it could become a larger problem. It's better to figure out ways of keeping world laws in tact.

I agree. this should be a topic but we have to be very careful how we approach this. Personally I'd like to see filters / algos activated by the user and for severe issues (such as child pornography) a consensus based blacklisting protocol should get activated that requires a majority vote by relay operators to not only block/mute such content but also make any attempt possible to expose such people. Aka to law enforcement and co.

But yeah, this topic is a slippery slope yet we should explore options.

Agreed, I am unbiased on a solution, but we do need to brainstorm and figure out a route or path that benefits the protocol and children's safety.

agreed. everyone's including children. a cult asking for mass suicide for example. or a state staged attack flooding nostr with such content so they have grounds to clamp down on free speech if nostr catches on.

Having said that those mechanisms must be tamperproof and beyond a small group of people deciding on which content is appropriate or not.
