Need your help nostr.

Google, obviously, is scaring the shit out of us here.

Arnie has been drooling for about 2 days straight now.

We’re not 100% sure but we think he ate some mushrooms in the yard.

Yesterday he was fine, just drooling a lot. But other than that, nothing different.

This morning he seems pretty low energy and still drooling.

Has anyone experienced this with their dog, and what’s the play?

Sometimes dogs just get sick. Seems like that to me.

Something that make dogs drool is licking a frog, but doesn’t last that long. If they eat it, it can make them sick, but they usually don’t. He’s nauseous. It’s hard to tell why.

I’m assuming he hasn’t eaten?

Yesterday he was perfectly normal outside of the drooling.

He hasn’t skipped a meal yet.

Continues to eat everything that’s put in front of his face haha

Blessing and a curse I guess!

Might be worth calling an emergency vet to see what they say? I wonder if they'll even be able to say anything on the phone. Reckon they'd at least give you some sort of indication of it's an emergency

Sorry. Not very helpful. Hopefully we have a vet here 🫂

My pup got into some wax (thc type, wicked strong). Couldn’t walk for a day or two. Ended up being okay. Guy I rented room to on the other hand didn’t look to good after I found out it was his he left out 🤷‍♂️🫶

Hope he recovers. Just lost my buddy of 8 years. It’s never easy. As the politicians say “I’m sending my thoughts and prayers” but I actually mean it.

Best to take him to the vet

Is he eating?

Yes hasn’t skipped a meal

How old is he? Is he eating and drinking close to normal and is his urinary output pretty normal?

He’s about 6 months now.

He’s been eating and drinking normal and everything else seems fine.

Just drooling a lot.

Bro. Vet if you have already. We had a dog die from eating mushrooms and I shrugged it off, huge regret.

Ahhh fuck I’m very sorry to hear that. That’s brutal.

I’m kind of shrugging it off right now. But starting to get a little more worried.

According to google, the mushrooms he may have eaten are toxic but nothing serious. So now I’m worried if he ate something else we’re unaware of. Guy eats everything in front of his face haha.

He’s been 100% normal outside of the drooling too.

We’ll see how he is in the morning.

Give him lots of raw cheese and raw fat to help absorb whatever toxic substance he ate.
