#### Are you a tree?🌴🌳

This question was the courage that drove me to leave my toxic employer. I realised that I am not a tree. Therefore, I can change jobs or careers when I wish. I chose the job, so I can change it.

Sounds easy, right? Absolutely not. It took me almost four years of back-and-forth dialogue until I decided enough was enough.

The bottom line is to exercise your options. You put yourself there; therefore, you can get yourself out. Yes, it may take some time to gather your courage, but the "knowing" that you can change your situation is, in itself, taking back the power.
