Well after reading the article, I think the BoT wasn't wrong about the plan to paint a room with Sam Altman's brains. But people who use AI deserve these involuntary committals.

I heard about all this from two close relatives, my age, both in power-careers. Apparently they use this Chat-GPT to get all sorts of stuff done. It must drive their employees nuts. Neither relative retained the ability to engage in down-to-earth conversations at this holiday gathering we were at. Both projected as "power players."

Later, one if these relatives leveraged AI to foist a business proposal on me to start a private business with him. A reading of his plan revealed a set up with him as the boss whilst I was the labor. It was whipped up so fast and written in such a sterile style ... I just knew it was ChatGPT. I just wrote back, "fuck that, I just buy Bitcoin."
