Our local ag inspector (and boss) gave us a visit today after two years of silence. They want money all of a sudden for our farm store permit and to perform an inspection.
We've since "closed to the public" thanks to our transition to Bitcoin.
They tried to claim the permit is also required for selling wholes and halves of the animals we offer to our customers--it's not. Nothing like having to educate the regulators on their own regulations.
Our black market presence is going to getting darker.
Easy to make everyone pay fees and taxes. More difficult to support small businesses and make infrastructure more effective
