The ECu continues its march as main fiat currency ; the server code rewrite continues its march towards sanity.
Speaking of which, we just completed an evaluation cycle, and here's a datapoint : January 2017 Eulora server consisted of 330k LOC. September 2017 Eulora server consists of 264k LOC. This differential masks a significant increase in tests written as well as comments included in the codebase, but without getting into very intricate detail we could say the cost to get rid of ~66k LOC (ie, about 20%) was somewhere in the 20 BTC range.
To put the matter in simple terms : next time you get a "black chix code" itch and feel like vomiting your idiocy in the shape of "patches" and "code submissions", seriously consider writing strings on your tits instead.
