Yeah craigslist isn't what it used to be.
Maybe try:
Nextdoor, freecycle, classifieds.com, local newspapers, OfferUp
That's all that I can think of right now
Kijiji up here. Not a huge community. Actually it is the oldest area per capita in Canada. I grew up with grunge and I'm young here!
