Why is it so just though?? Which laws?? Why is it so much more unjust than people being culturally conditioned to believe it’s ok to be homophobic etc and then go further and physically harm people me worse and worse is allowed to bully oppressed people
freedom of speech nessesitates expression of both love and hate because they are human. Its ok to not like something, and its ok to say so aswell. That is not violence or causing physical harm
But it leads to it. It’s cultural conditioning. So it’s a problem, because as much as it’s repeated like a mantra, Bitcoin doesn’t fix this, nostr doesn’t fix this. Neither are supporting and protecting EVERYONE in the current states it is and how they are promoted/used in the world now. I’m not saying it’s all wrong but what I say is true, these things don’t support and protect everyone. I can’t even block people in here if I was being harassed, I’ve definitely spoken to other women who agree with me that should be the case. It just seems perhaps the world might segregate off into different societies which value different morals, different social media platforms and companies depending on what your moral ideals are and maybe people won’t see so much of what other people do. Idk what else there is to do. Just create societal echo chambers cos I don’t see why I should live the way some others want to. Read the article I posted btw
you can mute people and block then from your dm’s… If you want to break cultural conditioning a ucensorable plattform to spread that message will be a good thing if the people agree on your statements. if you rely on limiting freedom of speech to get your message across then maybe the idea is bad
Well not enough sorry! I’m just really not liking the sheer amount of homophobia, anti feminism and transphobia for a start I see on here… need to think of alternatives for helping the world evolve into having a bit more empathy cos this sure doesn’t solve everything
