Nobody has ever made money selling the #bitcoin. We're only truly accumulating money when we acquire the #btc.

Interesting idea could you explain your hypothesis to me im a noob?

Fiat goes to zero against bitcoin over time

#bitcoin is the money

Imagine you are using monopoly money to buy dollar bills. That's how a #bitcoin maxi feels every time we buy bitcoin with dollars/pesos/euro etc.

So you make your money based on the price you get in at. But wouldn't it also matter how long it takes for fiat to go to zero? And how long you hold?

Forget the dollar to #bitcoin relationship.

There are only #satoshi. Paid in and paid with. Number just goes up or down.

It's very difficult to forget the dollar to #Bitcoin relationship. Paid in paid with works the best for communities that have integrated bitcoin or for communities with bitcoiners willing to accept and use Bitcoin. I.e Go to the grocery store, pay utilities, get paid for work done.

I understand that all fiat is garbage and eventually goes to zero as Bitcoins network effect eats up all others.

But for me I live in a small rural and retired community. Not only are they stuck on the fiat system it falls upon deaf ears when trying to educate about bitcoin.

So therefore using bitcoin and bitcoin only feels almost impossible. Also there is the value aspect of bitcoin...my sats are so much more valuable to me than any shit coin or Fiat.

But doesn't it seem logical to buy bitcoin with the fiat I earn and hodl hodl hodl knowing my sats will be the only thing truly worth a shit later?

What you're saying is mostly correct for today Marty. But I'm talking about going back to the future. Currently #bitcoin is mostly a savings tool but has the power to be so much more.

That's what I'm thinking, it's the best way to save because it's the only real asset worth holding rn. Thanks

Why not set up your getalby so I can zap ye some sats?

I thought I did set it up did I possibly skip a step?

Yes, there is no lighting address in your profile.

If your using getalby it should look like an email address

Getalby.com

That explains it

Ah okay I've finished the setup. Thanks for that I had no idea it wasn't fully setup.
