As far as I know you have to connect to at least one mint, that holds your sats, the mint is the one that pays or receives sats, so if you have at least one mint with sats, you can send to WoS. Cashu tokens stay only in your browser/wallet. Mints are like banks, you put your sats there, cashu is like IOUs for sats.
