He has been suffering from Alzheimer's since about 2018. Some may remember him from a PBS series years ago where he would have white people role play a racist incident. He also enjoyed jazz and when we went to academic conventions would always make an adventure out of trying to find a jazz club. Those adventures generated many funny stories.I am glad his suffering has ended, but he will be missed.
