That's like saying car makers in the 19th century fighting and not building new cars was a good thing. Drivechain allows actual building so the real fighting can take place. User serving market competition.

This fighting is unproductive, either DC is accepted or core because weaker. Dc allows any future fighting to take place off-chain and outside the priesthood. As it should be.
