Emotion is sin laden but still God given. I would say mastery is a more honorable goal than supression. A man ought not be ruled by his emotion, which is what online cry fighting demonstrates.

Unrelated, do you DM, Laser? Or use 0xChat or have another preferred method of private conversation? I have a Q and am happy to zap you for insight.

And yes I know I am doing here the thing boomer relatives do on Facebook— posting a random and unrelated comment under a note.

Men should only be emotional in the event of a death of a family member or friend, or when their son/daughter achieves a very significant life event. There really aren’t many other situations where it’s appropriate.

Generally?

Does compassion count as an emotion?

Or do you mean crying and whining over little inconveniences?

Yes.

I mean generally being emotional, as opposed to generally restrained.
