Sometimes I wonder if the current Thai government is actually secretly pro-cash and pro small government. They have failed to pass the budget since last October. It has been eight months now and things are still running. They have been arguing about a digital wallet for even longer, making everyone know about the level of control and extra tax they are going to take in with what is kind of a CBDC.
