Born in Moldavia, Antipa desired monastic life from a young age. He traveled extensively, seeking spiritual guidance, eventually settling at the Calapodești Monastery. Known for his humility and devotion, he lived an ascetic life, deeply committed to prayer and service. He later became a schema-monk. Miracles were attributed to him both during and after his life, and his relics are venerated for their healing power.
