Well ya I do but I was saying the making-it-simple-for-everyone bit. It requires scanning a qrcode on your node, which i didn’t have an off the shelf solution for regular people. Ideally it would just be an nfc tap on a custom hardware device

Gotcha. So i couldn’t just do this with my start9 node as things stand currently

It just requires a CLN node that you can connect to. No other software

rusty added commando support into CLN just for my use case basically, so it works for all CLN nodes battery included. Unfortunately most people use LDK

LND you mean? Yeah i tried CLN on start9 and the backup process got me. I probably burnt a good chunk of sats as a result. If i can salvage the secret file thing (not seed phrase) i will def see if i can swing this
