You can get excellence out of people without being a jerk, which he supposedly was to some people.
I haven’t read any of his biography nor seen films, but def do NOT put him on a pedestal like so many people do.
He totally screwed over Co—Founder Steve Wozniak, who was the ACTUAL brains behind Apple.

They created something together — don’t recall which specific product, you can look it up — but Steve Jobs sold it, got money for it and only gave Wozniak a tiny portion of deal.
Steve Wozniak is the actual BRAINS behind Apple! Steve Jobs was more like the marketing/promo guy.

Being a jerk to employees in which very competent people declare they would never work for them says a LOT about that boss.
Those kinds of bosses cause people to burn out and cause employees enormous amounts of STRESS, which is terrible for a person’s physical health in addition to other types of health, emotionally, mentally, spiritually!
It’ll take them years to recover from working under and in such a toxic environment cuz of a BAD boss who did not treat the employee well.
It’s not sustainable! BAD for company.
Work/Personal life balance is VERY VERY important!!
