People say Gen Z won’t be able to afford homes because of “the economy,” but that’s not the whole story. As a generation, many struggle with basic financial management. Instead of focusing on self-improvement and long-term planning, they often settle for any job just to fund short-term wants. Rather than using the advantage of living at home, where expenses are minimal and savings potential is high, they spend money on unnecessary things like impulse buys online or constant food delivery, instead of saving or investing for their future.
