There are over 8 billion people on the planet. Define "a lot".

1 billion people could buy 1 million sats

oh wait, no

the price would skyrocket

And buy... from whom?

exchanges

Is there even that much corn on exchanges 🤔

No way. 😂

Lol i’m very tired and thinking, “ok let’s see, a billion times a million divided by a hundred million…” ☠️

Oh that’s just 10 million isn’t it. Yeah it’s not even close to possible then

Exchanges trade fiat or shitcoins for Bitcoin. That only works, until the other currency hyperinflates and Bitcoiners pull out of the market.

There's a window.

their shall always be sellers of the satoshi. forever and ever amina

and hodler would start selling since their bags "pumped" - idk how people dont see this ponzi .

? joke ?

yes. buying bitcoin is a scam. earning bitcoin was the goal

if you need it the hard way

but if you can still use the shortcut

why not?

shortcut, pumps the fiat price, and after there's no more horny buyers, the price tanks once more. triggering panic selling, rinse and repeat. . . buy bitcoin . . dollar cost average . . rinse repeat. it never ends

Also have to take opportunity cost into account.

If I spend time here, establishing myself in a bitcoin-only market, I'll have trouble working a day job effectively, and vice-versa, at least for a time, until some routine emerges.

Sometimes you have to decide and focus, to transition, and the sooner you can do that, the less potential-Bitcoin you lose in the transition.

I basically have 1 year to get something done, or I'm out. 🤷‍♀️

Why would they sell for fiat? 😂 They'd spend it on something concrete, like a house or something.

there are still 2 million btc on exchanges

you can still eat from that pie

Only if you've got a currency they want. Most people won't.

i am still waiting for the first fiat currency which will be printed to death because the state buys bitcoin with it.

I think there are smarter ways for governments to acquire Bitcoin.

For example, the UK could auction the Koh-i-noor diamond and park the proceeds in Bitcoin. One rare asset for another. If that goes well, move on to the Elgin marbles.

and how many ppm is the adoption rate?

thats also a hard to guess stat

Yeah, but I think it's safe to say that hardly anyone will have a million satoshis.

Some of the 21 million isn't in circulation, some is essentially retired, the rest is really expensive, but being bought up rapidly by DCAers and gigantic funds.

We probably don't even see most of the Bitcoin trading hands because it's business-to-business, now, or some fiat gazillionaire buying up everything a miner produces at a discount.

you are right i am not selling for fiat

i got a lot of task which nocoiners

could do for me in exchange for sats

Yeah. I write and entertain because that's what I do best, but we're also working hard on a Nostr product and maybe that will at least be cost-covered, eventually.

just waiting on the BTC standard so selling btc for products and services isnt as bad as selling for fiat

roger that

zap cry baby amount beloved. 😃
