It’s scary.

It’s scary because Charlie Kirk just got shot for doing the same thing we tell our kids to do.

We raise our children to stand up for what they believe in.

To speak with courage.

To not follow the crowd just because it’s easier.

But then we turn on the news and see someone taken out because someone didn’t agree with them. And as a parent, that shakes you.

Because how do we teach our kids to be bold and brave in a world that punishes people for exactly that?

We want them to live with conviction. To speak their truth. To never be afraid of being different.

But at the same time we’re terrified for the world they’re walking into.

It should not be dangerous to believe in something.

It should not cost your life to use your voice.

As parents, we’re caught between raising fearless children and praying the world won’t break them for it.
