My belief is that every individual interacts differently with food based on current health and genetics. There is no one size fits all.

More specifically to this article, the question is not comparing the density of the protein, it it’s sufficiency. Americans on average consume 2x the amount of protein required for a non-athlete or body builder to maintain lean muscle mass.

People get too defensive about what they eat. Eat whatever works for you is my mantra. I would never recommend my diet for anyone else. It is kind of like financial advice, everyone’s circumstance is different. 💜
