When I was a kid I used to work under the table as basically a subcontractor every summer vacation

I worked on some of the most beautiful homes and basically mansions

Then go home to my shitty house where I couldn't afford to do renovations unless I raided the dumpsters for materials that were still good, but the company (that hired the people that hired me) had purchased extra and still charged for it

There was a lot of wase

I'd get up at 4-4:30 am ... Work until 5/6 pm

Painting

Drywalling

Laying tile

Electrical work

Plumbing

Building the structure

Digging ditches

Building irrigation systems

Building pools with customized features

Landscaping

Like whatever

I got paid anywhere from 50$ a day to 7$ an hour

I was cheap as fuck but I wasn't paying taxes
