Go ahead and critisize our US Government, but all of us citizens have no say in what they do: you speak out and you get punished or you disappear. Most may be ignorant, but even if they knew, they couldn't do anything about the injustice and terrorism.
Discussion
Imagine having 350 million people that can’t do anything about their government? Your people are not hopeless but they did allow the government to be what it is now.
Are you stating that number of citizens = capability to control your government.
If so, that's an argument I haven't heard before, care to say more?
The lynchpin to understanding the servility of US citizens is the Whiskey Rebellion of 1791-1794, when the Federal army of 13,000 marched against 600 tax protestors. It was at that point (only a few years after the end of the revolution) we realized we had traded one king George for another. The only ones who speak out are the ones willing to be martyrs, and US soil is drenched with their blood.
Jesus only needed 12 disciples. All I’m saying is it only takes one leader to rally an entire nation to make it better or make it worse. There’s got to be one in your numbers.
Such is the nature of humans and history repeats itself blah blah. It’s nothing new but nonetheless true.

Lolz, yeah, lots that can be done, but the price to make it happen is too high. He's probably right about education being the only thing worth doing, the cost to participate is more reasonable.
What cost is there to doing what he suggests specifically?
The #secession group in #Texas has been advocating for bringing that to the ballot for some time, and they have not been “disappeared”.
Has anyone you know tried suggesting that to their state “representative” and faced reprisal?
What could happen to them, for example, if a significant part of retired #American “concons” , independents and #libertarians began actively seeking being on local juries and exercising their #jury #nullification power?
They would crash the whole absurd and crooked #legal , #court and #prison system there!
A prominent American #libertarian - Tom Woods - even wrote a #howto #book on that a decade ago:

If such an opportunity existed in my territory, i would.
Point is, Americans say “they couldn’t do anything about the injustice”, even when one of them gives them effective options that would hardly cost them any effort, and certainly no individual reprisal.
