NGL, I am starting to hate all of the new academia jargon spreading like virus across CS and programming communities. SOTA, precision, recall, AI this, AI that, LLM, features, tokens, inference, parameters, agents, agentic this, agentic that, etc, etc. Same shit with different names and a fuck ton of marketing spin. 😭

Like how is this a normal way to write anything factual and informative: “Achieves state-of-the-art (SOTA) results in multilingual retrieval tasks and multi-task representation model evaluations when compared to models of similar size.” or “Support elastic output dense representation while maintaining the effectiveness of downstream tasks, which significantly reduces storage costs and improves execution efficiency.”
