It's kinda crazy to see how different it is. On traditional social media it was hard to connect with people. I was suspicious that whatever I was saying or sharing was being shadowbanned.
Now I'm pretty sure that's the case because I've made more connections than I ever have on any other social media.
I was shadowbanned since first week on the bird app. After more than 2 years and 7000 tweets, 550 followers, and even with that number looks like almost none was visualizing my tweets.
On Nostr after 2 months, 1500+ followers (real people), infinite likes boost and zaps.. and I am creating pure connections with kind anons from all over the world in a frictionless way for the first time in my life. A dream 🍀☯️💜🫂

Same here. I have a feeling traditional social media doesn't like people who spread kindness, self awareness, or wisdom because it doesn't work for the divide and conquer and dumb down tactics being employed by the state on an unsuspecting populace.
Many of which have never learned about Edward bernays who is the father of American propaganda. But that's just my tin foil hat take. IDK for sure, but the results speak for themselves.
I'm gonna start a nostr for my band and see as well. We have almost 5 thousand followers on Instagram and never really get engagement. So I'm excited to see how we do on nostr!
