My obsession with bitcoin is really about my obsession with trying to understand what *is* it?

It’s clearly not money, but is better than any money we have ever had.

It’s not a clock, but it’s the best global time keeping mechanism that has ever existed.

It’s not a blackhole, but its adsorbed more energy than anything that exist.

It’s not a god, but it maintains its oath and promise greater than any human, institution, or government.

So what the hell is it?

AFAICT it’s really a trick to force us into think in the most rigorous and logical way to come to the conclusion that truth as a value is the highest and most supreme value for humans, and the recognition that what Bitcoin’s essence is returns use to that truth through a fusion of horizon through letting us speak and exchange value with one another through the lex of cryptography and the truth it must cointain.
