funny you'd mention this. I was looking at my movie and tv show library yesterday and was thinking "when did they start making a tv show out of every damn movie I've ever watched? and "Why they are all so shit though the movies were great?"

Why don't they make their own gay stories instead of ruining the good straight ones?

I don't know. Maybe they don't want to discriminate woke vampires?

All I'm doing is watching old movies now because everything new = total crap

Same here. I google like "best [inseert genre] movies last 20 years" and then I have to find one I haven't watched 10 times already. Did you see the Mr and Mrs Smith series? If not, save yourself some time and just watch the movie again. Same goes for Reacher, the remake of Shogun and pretty much everything else new.

Mr And Mrs Smith the movie was too stupid for me to be interested in a TV series too.

Reacher, the first movie was pretty good but that's it. All the rest were crap.

Watched half an episode of Shogun and had to quit.

A few good TV series that I recently watched were:

- Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen

- Blue Eye Samurai (animation)

- The Continental

Username doesn't check out. ;)

I hate this woke-ass trend too. It's gotta end sometime.

Oh yeah, and stay TF away from Star Trek Diversity. (Discovery) It's the mother of all woke series.

Best diversion in two decades and the division tool of the 21st century. I guess black/white fighting each other wasn't good enough any more.

No more Star Trek for me, the last interesting one was TNG.

The thing about woke movies & series is that they are very director-dependent. Look at the Star Wars franchise since it got disneyfied. Rouge One, perhaps the best movie of the whole franchise was made and nobody hates the Mandalorian series... But Some of the new stuff is truly awful. You just gotta know which ones.

Give Star Trek: Strange New Worlds a chance. I'm actually loving it, despite it being a spin-off of the horrible franchise I just told you to avoid.

"Rogue One, perhaps the best movie of the whole franchise"

I want to say this isn’t even up for debate, but if I do…

Dear BFF,

Ok I will give this version of Star Trek a try.

Awesome. Let me know how you are enjoying it when you've finished Season 1. (If you can call these 10-epsode runs 'seasons' anymore.)
