For years this has been a theme in decentralized systems. People attribute a kind of agency to it, saying this system was made for X or "we" should do Y or Z isnt the point of the system..
You see it whenever a CEO is mentioned or when there's a big effort for a flag day.
The reality is there's me and the rules I agree with. Then there's you and the rules you agree with. If compatible we can talk.

I think it is an important point because like most things, Nostr is teetering in this out of control way, with an epic issue right now attempting to coordinate on some small details when really it's better to embrace the chaos, spell out alternative sets of rules wherever there is conflict and let the experiments play out. The possibilities are endless as they should be.
