Attract other bitcoiners, and then the rest is history.

I’ve owned my own business for a long time. Been accepting bitcoin for years. This is what convinced me.
1. Credit/debit card transactions cost money. Generally around 3% of the total sale once all the fees are added up. (Transaction fees, swipe fees, qualifying criteria, etc.) A lightning transaction costs about one tenth of that. Say something like “I prefer to pay you In a way where you keep all the money.”
2. Settlements are almost instant. Credit/debit processing is batched, usually daily and deposited overnight. Sometimes longer. The pitch would be “from my wallet to your wallet instantly with no middle man or processing company”
