It strikes me tonight that a world where people have the leisure to argue about websockets or operating systems, programming languages and politics, music and money, is a pretty fucking awesome world.

We’d be out hoping we killed the mammoth before getting trampled not that long ago.

I live in a house built over 130 years ago. Electric and plumbing were both added much later. There is an original barn and smokehouse on the property as well. I often look around when I walk outside and am grateful that my life isn't as difficult as the settlers who built it.
