Oh boy.

I had a friend who’s mom had fled China as a child. She came over one day & we fed her wine until she shared her story. Apparently her father was of the wrong political party. Mom kept insisting that they leave the country as he was an elected official. He kept insisting they stay since he thought she was nuts & over exaggerating the situation. She finally won out & they left.
Mom, dad & 7 kids. 2 weeks later anyone left in the country of that party & their families were murdered.
I don’t know the truth of the story, but I also have no reason to doubt. The blowback that I am starting to see is concerning to me.
We’re not there yet, but we are on the path
Damn!
(Not a very flattering photo of him.) The man is being forced out of the country, probably to make place for the beneficiaries of the immigration system he's been ferociously vocal against? The irony of this!
Too easy. True/false in a DB
Seems to be a concerted effort to scapegoat inflation on exiting from the eu. and even with mirror-image inflation, lawlessness and european disunion, we fall for that again.
I guess that in the eu and the uk, the average person just wants less state interference, errosion of statehood, an end to immigration quotas and supranational interference, less market-manipulation, fewer geopolitical provocations and less reliance on models of outsourcing. Sovereignty .. but it's just easier for to not have that conversation.
