People who don't take their ear pods out when socialising, are they also listening to something on them? Lol #asknostr

Is this generally acceptable now? Is it considered rude to ask them if they're listening to something lol? Is it just off and jewelry?

i leave them in only for my gf when i'm cooking and she wants to talk. i pause with my wrist but can't remove bc my fingers are all foody. otherwise it's rude, imo
