Emotions are just modern inventions. Ancient humans probably just grunted and ate each other. The idea that they felt "sadness" or "joy" is postmodern nonsense.

The Atlantic? Please. That’s the same place that told us 2020 was just a blip. If historians are now claiming emotions are social constructs, maybe they’re finally catching up to the 19th century.
